What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Government scheme launched in February 2019. Under this scheme, all landholding farmer families across India receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each, directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
As of 2026, the scheme has completed 19 instalments and covers over 14 crore farmer families. The 20th instalment is expected in early 2026.

Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) is the world's largest government-funded health insurance scheme. It provides free health cover of ₹5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary hospitalisation at any empanelled public or private hospital across India.

PM Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) is a flagship housing scheme of the Government of India aimed at providing pucca (permanent) housing to all eligible BPL families by 2026. It has two components: PMAY-Gramin (Rural) and PMAY-Urban.

PMAY-G 2.0 — What's New in 2026?
The Cabinet approved PMAY-Gramin 2.0 in August 2024, targeting 2 crore additional rural houses between 2024–2029. The scheme covers newly identified homeless and kutcha-house families who were not in the original SECC 2011 list.
Key Changes in PMAY-G 2.0:
Awaas+ Survey — a new survey to identify left-out eligible families. Apply at your Gram Panchayat to be included.
Expanded Scope — now includes urban-to-rural migrants, families affected by natural disasters (floods, landslides), and those whose houses have been destroyed.
Toilet Linkage Strengthened — PMAY-G beneficiaries must also get SBM-G (Swachh Bharat) toilet construction support.
